OP Dad_of_3 CEG\'er D Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 82 Waukesha, WI	I have a 99 Tour SE zetec 2.0. I just noticed this noise tonight. While driving at about 40 or above i hear this wierd noise, almost like a slapping/tapping noise "Very strange". It seems to be coming from the center of the dash area but not sure (heater controls and stereo were off). It was very hard for me to try and pin point the sound driving by myself and still keeping my eyes on the road, lol. I do not here it at idle at all, only when i hit about 40 or above. I will take it for another ride with my wife (driving) so i can try and find the location of the noise tomorrow. But until then anyone have any ideas? 99 Contour SE Zetec 2.0 ATX My Ride

LOL Not sure man, if it is not happening on idle I'd say something is loose.
