no body then just seems to be common problem and is very costly too sadly but the v6's make such nice cars to drive for power and torque

No US 2.5L engines have had any head gasket problems.
The stock head gaskets have even held over 400 FWHP from turbo charged cars as well.
They are quite capable.

The UK versions seem to be blessed with better waterpumps and fuel pumps though. They also have the DMD stock and isn't spun bearings a rarity ?

no the water pumps are plastic ones and break up all the time causing engine to over heat cooking the heads but we can get hold of the metal water pumps also dmd pulley too so the us v6 doesn't suffer like the uk spec does any1 know why this is or not also on both gaskets there a bit missing which should cover a bit of the heads have you guys have the same problem with this too link to meg about some of the head gasket problems to take a look at see what you think and comment on http://www.fordmondeo.org/ubbthreads/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/626878/an/0/page/0/gonew/1#UNREAD

No, no, and no.
Same water pump. (Ford Europe has used non-silicate/non-phosphate coolant for years though. ) Same fuel pumps. (maybe a different pickup screen for the returnless though?) They use the same crank pulley.

I'm pretty sure my head gasket is leaking oil. It spatters out of the seal on the rear head once in a while and the back side of the block is always wet. It's not real bad yet (first time i actually noticed thats where it's coming from)... but i only have 45k miles. I'm thinking about trying a heavier weight oil or using some of that stop leak you can get anywhere. No one else has had this problem?
