I'm considering these tires as my Toyo Proxes FZ4 are just about done. When comparred to my factory G-Force tire the Toyo blew me away in all weather conditions.
A friend at my dealer showed me this new tire from Goodyear and I must say that it's a good looking tire. Been reading some reviews and I'm seeing very high ratings on this tire.
I most likely will get 205/55R16 which is the same size as my current Toyo's.
Anyone use these on the tour or another vehicle?

I was looking at these too. My brothrer inlaw has them on his Grand Prix and he likes them. All the reviews on Tire Rack are favourable. I don't think they will have the same dry performance as my Eagle F1's or the original G-Force tires but I don't drive like a mad man too often and the added snow traction will let me make my snow tire swap later in the winter and earlier in the spring without worrying about the forcast.

It's not a performance tire, FYI. It will work great in the rain, and it works as good as could be expected on dry, and snow/ice wouldn't require you to get a new tire, but don't expect too much out of it. FYI, right now tire salesmen are getting $5/Assurance they sell. I work in a tire store, so I know who is getting what behind the front desk. Unfortunatly I work in the back, so I get none of that

I hate my Toyo's. I have Bridgestone Potenza RE750 for winter tires ... I know they are not for winter, but I am only on freeways and they are wet 95% of the time. Anyway These things hold better on wet roads then my Toyo FZ4's do on dry roads. I would go with one of these: Michelin Pilot Sport PS2, BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW 2, Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Position, or Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3. They all rank well on everything but Snow which they are not ment for anyway. I think I am going to replace my Toyo's this winter with the BF's.

Im thinking of replacing my Toyo's with either KDW 2's or Eagle f1 GS-D3's. My pops has the F1's on his quattro audi and loves them to death. He's concerned with keeping the noise low, and the traction high. Apperantly they do their job pretty well . Ive also heard nothing but good things from the KDW 2's.

I have the Eagle F1 GS-D3 on right now and they are great but I only use them to their potential 5% of the time.

The Triple Tred is an excellent tire, that is damn near bullet proof. If you just use your car on the street, then this is a great choice. If you are running on the track as well, then there are better alternatives.
You can bet Goodyear has done their homework on this tire as they have pretty much staked their continued existence on it. It is pricy, but the extended warranty is a value and these tires grip and handle with tires costing twice as much.
I wish that I had them, but the budget would not allow it.

They will probably be my next set of tires. Currently I have crappy General AmeriG4S on it and they suck in the wet and dry. Snow traction is decent though. I really can't wait till these General tires are shot. But, they've probably got another 10k left in them so it'll be a little while... My car came stock with Goodyear Eagle GT+4's and they were awesome in all weather. Much better than the General's in everything. Maybe not winter, but the general's had deeper tread. For some reason the Goodyear tires lasted much longer than the Generals will.

I think I'm going to go for these. I just keep on reading good reviews on these tires.
