I have a question about jacking up my 98.5 CSVT. I know the 4 cover on the skirts are the "jacking points". However, if you jack the car up by these points, where is the best place to put the jack stands? Most of the parts under the car look rather "delicate".

I placed the jack under the longitudal subframe crossmember and jacek up the car, then placed the jack stands under the jack points.

I Jack right on the bolt head at the front of the car Where the subframe meets with the Unibody itself. It is a very strong point to lift the car especially with a trolly jack. I then block the car under the frame rails near that point. Never have any problems. On the rear I jack under the frame rails , but I have a steel plate to put between the jack post and the frame rail so as not to collapse the frame rail. Then block under the frame rails. Hope this helps.

i use the spot right behind the jack covers, just put a block of wood between the jack and the car to distribute the weight better.
