Probably not the problem, but worth bringing up.

Did you ever get the engine wiring harness recall?

'95 wires were complete crap and could cause all sortsa problems in time.

replaced the EGR, the old one looked pretty nasty...

it kept stalling, even after all this, but the problem seemed that it just wouldn't idle high enough to stay on. it ran fine...so we adjusted the idle a little higher and it was holding around 850 rpms, drove it for an hour or two and now it seems back down around 650-700 rpms. seems to be running fine now...

I took it in this morning for the wiring harness recall, should pick it up this afternoon to see how bad the damage was and what all the "decided" to fix.

one last thing, last night it threw one more code at me. code 211, the PIP circuit (somethin ignition pickup, forgot off the top of my head). I know this has to do with timing issues, I searched, but can't find any part #s or anything to replace. any comments on the remedy?

thanks everyone/anyone who had input. seemed to really help. I still wanna clean out my IAC when I get a chance, but it seems to be running alright as of now.
