On the front fenders, I have the SE badges. But what i was wondering was how hard would it be to take those off and install some of those side markers there? Could someone give me a general idea of what i'd hafta do.

As for difficulty.. if you have GENERAl knowledge about anything at all... I'd tate this as a 2 out of 10 in the difficulty dept. I'm not 100% sure as to weather the SE's have teh hole behind the badge, or not.. I think they do. Regardelss of there being a hoel or not, you'll still have to widen the hole with a dremel just a bit.the absolute "hardest" part is just routing the wire around the wheel well to the front headlamp to plice it in.... and I'm sure that doesn't sound dificult at all. Have fun! Oh.. and don't go buying those cheapy huge-mongous turn signal things from pepboys (APC).. they don't look all that well and the lens on those WILL come off in a car wash becuase they "lightly" snap on.
Good place to find some Audi A6/A8/A4 side markers (the best one's to use in my opinon) are found at teh dealership or Here!. Scroll have way down, you'll see a clump of them for 9 bucks.. buy one of those.

You don't hafta worry bout me buying anything cheap...i don't go for that kinda crap. This should be as easy as i thought. I'll post some pics when i get it done.

i saw a pic of a newer Mondeo (iirc) and the side marker was a little upside down triangle. It looked really neat/different. Only thing is it was yellow. Anyone know what im talking about or know where to get this in clear?

Damn..looks like they require a special fitment cutout in the fender to make them work. It said on the one link that its not a universal car part and showed the back of the side marker. the hole in the fender almost needs to be triangular to fit this light, definatly do not want to cut my fender. Oh well it was worth a try. Thanks for the link. I saw these and thought they looked really nice...kinda "beemer'esque'" if you will.

Did mine a couple months ago. Most Audi parts departments dont even carry these in stock. Always special orders. Also the prices on these side markers, socket, and bulbs are no way near what the CEG site says. Youre looking at $50+ a pair! I found mine on ebay for $8 a pair from a seller in the UK. They were the real Audi sidemarkers as well. Took me several hours to hook them up. I found the exact replica of these sidemarkers. BID! ebay Dont use anything else. Theyre just crap and makes youre car a rice. -dan
