It's been a long time since I've last posted here. Back then, I was Ian in Tampa, and had just traded in my '99 Contour SE Sport T-Red (67k) in on a '02 Focus ZX3 P. Black (23k). Needless to say, that was a very big mistake. The focus now has 53k on it (purchased March '04).
Irregardless, I have just had a medical condition reemerge that has placed me in a situation where I can't drive for six months. As good a car as the focus is, I still owe Ford Credit 220 a month for the forseeable future. Does anyone know of a way to get out of a car loan due to medical issues? Or does anyone have a desire to take over a loan on a focus zx3 (mtx)?
For the next six months, I'll be commuting via mass transit, and thinking that getting a Contour again (even a disstressed 2.0 atx would make me smile) when I can legally drive again. At this point in the game, I am changing my lifestyle so that a car is more of a plaything than a necessity, and even a beat up zetec would be fun to fix up the way I want.
