Roger I'm very dissapointed in you... patience is a virtue
I'm dissapointed too Derek, especially after going to the dealership today to get my $100.00 back from the deposit. He told me their getting (6) more GT's and thats it, I'm #13 on the list. This means that I'd have (7) more infront of me when the 06's come out and GOD knows when those will be made. That being said, I'm trying to load up the pics right now, but something isn't working, so stay tuned
whatever it is, as long as you're happy, that's ALL that matters.
02 Mustang GT... Tuned by Nelsons. Low 12's, anyone?

I must say as a driver you should have gotten an evo, but I know you have (probably) made a good decision. As long as you enjoy it and like your decision.

The marketing people did their job, and did it well if they're having all these shortages. That would be an issue with another department, like the "numbers people".
Ok.. I know I'm a bit late to the party here but I had to chime in since I am one of the "numbers" people..
When a vehicle is about to be launched, there are a number of studies on cost, freight network optimization, etc. that have been going on for years. In these studies, sales and marketing determines a mix on what options the public will order. These mix numbers are often incorrect, as we all know the public changes their minds a LOT!
Anyway, as you know the GT shares an engine with some other Ford vehicles that have a larger profit margin. Those vehicles are selling very well right now and Romeo is at capacity for the engine, Ford cannot make anymore of them, so they chose to put them in the higher profit vehicles instead of the mustang. I know how frustrating it can be when you are waiting for a car.
Rog - congrats on the new car, whatever it is, I'll have to check it out this summer

Come on guys. Really... Over a stupid car? So what if he wants to have a little fun with it's debut. Surely we have better things to worry about than what roger is getting. Ford obviously dropped the ball on getting the new mustangs gt's out. It's really quite a shame if you think about it. Romeo is at max capacity. Engines are at a premium i guess!

I'm shocked that so many people care about someone else's car purchase. Sucking up to roger pretending to care isn't going to get y'all a better deal on detailing. Ever think that all your time may be more productively spent with something else? Evenings at newman's house, installing a new 3.0l would be more fun. back on topic though, it does seem that ford dropped THE ball big time. Could they be trying to pretend it's 1964 again? Once again, sadly I must say, I agree with Dave on this subject. Even though he frequently has the zex with steeda's mom.
