Ok, my car has been having this weird problem lately. Sometimes it wont start, i turn the key and it sounds like there is a spark, which i cant find, and everything goes dim. If i wait for a minute or two and try again it usually starts, if it doesnt i have to wait another minute and then it will start. Also, when this happens i lose all the interior lights and my stereo goes dead. I thought this was a battery issue, but it starts up just fine after i have to wait. does anyone know what is causing this problem?

Check for loose or corroded battery connections.

I have a similiar problem, only my sounds like the solenooid clicks, but the windshield wipers and and speedo start jumping around. I has done this once before, but then it was fine. If you guys have any ideas, lmk.

Deus: could EASILY be a battery.

especially factoring in the wipers, etc.

All the above + check the ground wires for corrosion or bad connections. Especially the ground wire under the battery tray.
