I Have a 1998 CSVT, and I get a lot of heat coming into the cabin from the front. Is this normal? I don't mind in the winter but now with the warmer weather it is horrible. Heat just keeps coming in at the foot wells. I looked for a heater cutoff valve (valve that cuts off the flow of coolant to the heater core) thinking this was stuck open and keeping the heat pouring in, but I cannot find such a valve. Do these Ford Contours have such a valve? Next I was going to check out all the flaps amd make sure they are all working properly and none stuck so as to keep heat coming in. The temperature regulation seemed to work fine in the winter and seems OK in the summer with the AC on, but with ths medium weather and no need for AC it gets realy hot in the cabin.

Anyone else experience this?
What is the cause?
Any solution?
