I dont remember but it would have been about what, 4 years ago? You know I've changed a lot since then. Anyways, my point was that to permit birht control outside of marriage would be to say that sex outside of marriage is alright. The Bible says the exact opposite.

Come on guys, too much religious debate. You believe in something, fine...So why argue with others? Believe what you want, and practice what you want, there is absoloutely no reason religions should collide like this. After all, your choice in religion is just that, your choice in religion, and someone elses choice is their own, I like front wheel drive cars, some people don't, do I go around attempting to change their opinion? No, because they couldn't change mine, and that's fine. Basically all I'm saying is, step back, take a moment to cool off, and respect everyone else for their opinions as much as you respect people who share yours.

I find it hilarious that the Chinese are more mature about this issue than the Catholic Church.

Well, if we're talking about child molestation, we have two types: fixated and regressed. A fixated child molester needs/wants to be in a position where he has relatively easy access to children. This is because victims cannot be reused due to maturing out of the desired age range. Also, the fixated molester needs to appear safe, stable, and trustable. Therefore, a good job and volunteer activities with children make sense. True, becoming a priest makes access easier. However, becoming a priest is more difficult than becoming a boy's soccer coach or a Boy Scout leader.
This is just speculation, but I would think that some priests made of mistake of getting into a line of work that they are not cut out for. I'm talking about the vow of celibacy. Not everyone can do this. And if one is frustrated and prevented from relations with adult females, covert trysts with kids may be last resort. In other words, it may well be regressed child molesting.

The catholic church is just a vehicle for power and corruption. They say that they can send you to hell by excommunicating you, last time I checked one person had the power to do that....onesself by how they act and how they interact with God. They care about the control of the people, this goes back to when the churches would fight for power from the government in Europe hundreds of years ago. They both used fear and intimidation to get people to follow them. The catholic church still does that today. They want people to worship the church, not God. Why does someone need to talk to another PERSON about what they did wrong when they should be talking to God about it?
