The other day i was pulling out of a store i was making a left hand turn, i pulled out put it in first got up to about 5grand rpm's i put it into second gear and suddenly the car just shut off, and now wont start. I checked the fuel cutoff switch that wasnt it , i checked my fuel pump pressure and got a number around 40(my manual say should be 28-33). I put new spark plugs in, still wont start. The engine totally turns over everything sounds fine it just wont fire. I'm kinda lost becasue i really dont know to much to begin with, i'mn strapped for money and i just lost my job, now with no car things are really looking down, anyway if someone has some advice please let me know...thanks

i could be wrong on this but sounds like a possibility it could be your timing belt

Check your IAC valve is not stuck. Take it off spray it with carb cleaner and let it soak then try it again. If its a 4 banger...then it could be the timing belt as mentioned.
