OP briandmx_dup1 New CEG\'er B Joined: Jul 2002 Posts: 49 Downriver, MI	The other day i was pulling out of a store i was making a left hand turn, i pulled out put it in first got up to about 5grand rpm's i put it into second gear and suddenly the car just shut off, and now wont start. I checked the fuel cutoff switch that wasnt it , i checked my fuel pump pressure and got a number around 40(my manual say should be 28-33). I put new spark plugs in, still wont start. The engine totally turns over everything sounds fine it just wont fire. I'm kinda lost becasue i really dont know to much to begin with, i'mn strapped for money and i just lost my job, now with no car things are really looking down, anyway if someone has some advice please let me know...thanks

Taasman CEG\'er T Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 432 Cambridge, Ontario	Check your IAC valve is not stuck. Take it off spray it with carb cleaner and let it soak then try it again. If its a 4 banger...then it could be the timing belt as mentioned.
