Drove the car down to Speedworld on friday and was the only car not trailered

Second run beat a 2005 Hyundai Tiburon which ran 16.543:
Reaction .522
E.T. 16.074(Horrible traction, bad wheel hop)
MPH 87.074

Third run beat a Datsun 280z which ran a 16.137:
Reaction .545
E.T. 15.769(lowered tire pressure to 35psi, better launch)
MPH 88.748

Fourth run beat a Mitsubishi Lancer which ran a 15.960:

Sonofa........!!!

I live in Surprise and forgot that you were going this Friday. I'd intended on popping in to say hi.

Anyway, nice steady improvement on your runs. Maybe I can get some pointers from you once my clutch gets replaced.

looks like you had some good competition. when I was there I kept getting lined up against Lightnings and notchback 'stangs that were vibrating MY car when they loped

Probably misbadged. You know how those ricers are. (taken from the comment on the overkill body crap)

A stock GST runs around 15 flat.

why did you have so much air pressure? "lowered it to 35 psi".....everyday driveing shouldnt even have that much. should have started around 30 id think then lower from there if needed.

maybe thats just me...

Every day driving should have 35 psi or more with the right tires. ~32psi with street tires at the drag strip.

depending on the tire, and the car weight, you can run well in to the 40-42psi range.

I am running 40psi on the S03's I have.. as stated and researched to curb REALLY fast wear.

track I lower to 32 in the fronts, and 36ish in the rears(if at all).

wow you guys are crazy and obviously never worked with tires. tire psi should be used per car stats(door jam or owners manuel) over inflateing or under will cause tire wear.

i would never run more than 35 psi in a tire except maybe in the rears at the trach which i read but havent tryed yet.

its your guys's cars though, any reasons behind the whole more air then recommended rule?
