Hello,

How can I tell whether I have keyless entry or not, or an alarm. I have a 98 Contour GL Sport 2.5L. When I bought it it didn't come with remotes but now i'm wondering if he just didn't have them?? How would I be able to tell? The car also has a blinking light near the clock my friends doesn't what does this mean??

First do a lillte research and you will find where to check if you have the connector to enter into the programming mode for the keyless entry. If i remember well it's behind the glovebox compartment.

There is non Contique or CSVT with a factory alarm.

The LED that flash beside your clock is the PATS. Passive Anti-Theft System. All the V6 have that feature. That mean that you have an electronic key.
