you guys should check out the June 2005 issue of 5.0 magazine where they interview John Coletti post retirement. Coletti talks about what he envisiouned the Contour evolving into (Turbo V-6 all wheel drive, 300-350hp) before ford pulled the plug on the car in 2000. He has high praise for the car saying it had "-very, very capable mechanicals", pretty interesting. Throughout the article he keeps coming back to the way ford killed the contour as an example of what they are doing wrong. Check it out
