Uhh ohh.. I went to re-install the subframe on my 98 Mystik today... The bolt at the front-right just behind the bumper cover just spins. About half-way back in the nut up top must have broken loose. Now I can't get it back out, or back in.

The rear bolts both did this on the way out, but I was able to get to them from the access panels under the carpet inside the car. I can't see any such option for the front bolts, however.

It's looking like I'll have to start drilling, but I'm really hoping that someone here might have a magic trick they can share with me!

If the bolt isn't too tight on the nut, try pulling down on the bolt when you back it off (you may have tried this already, but just in case). That may put enough pressure on the nut to keep it from spinning. Good luck welding the bastard back on!
