A very good friend of mine just told me he watched an 03 Cobra autox this past weekend in California! He says he has pics and some videos of it that he will post later tonight. I'll try and post a link to it when I find out about it myself.

He said it had Michigan plates and all of the pre production emission exempt stickers under the hood. I don't even know which bay area spot he autox'd at this weekend. Like I said, I'll keep you posted on the outcome!

Supposed to be 390 S/C HP from what I've heard. Should be a monster on the street if its set up correctly.

I read in Muscle Mustang's and Fast Ford's that the new 2003 Cobra due out this summer is
390 HP/390 Lb/Ft
6 speed
S/C 4 valve 4.6L.
Still sporting the IFS but it now has it's own front fascia/side moldings/bumber/spoiler.
It is making as much torque at 1800 RPM that the 2001 is making at peak.
Should be a pretty tough contender

I don't know if I like the front and rear "ground effects".....but....i don't think there are words in the english language to describe that car..........now do I tell my dad to buy a saleen or a 03 cobra.....?????

Yellow not myy color, looks like a sleeper, but that spoiler looks horrible.

I love the hood! Maybe just me......but I like it.

I'm not a big fan of all the angles that ford is putting into their cars. It kinda makes em look cheap. Granted the new cobra has everything under the hood that I would want, I just wish ford would change their exterior designs and go with something a little more rounded that flows better like the 95's.
