Magnecore wires with NGK plugs. But I'm broke, so I only have Taylor wires with Bosch +4 Platinum plugs.

Same here, and I think they work just as well!

You will need Double Platinum plugs. The Ingition system fires the spark straight through the block literally. Tip to electrode on firing side, electrode to tip or opposite side.

A single or non-platinum plug will were out extremely quickly.

I have Magnecors with +4s. The Magnecors are the best, but they cost about twice as much as the competition. You have a couple choices with the spark plugs, but the +4s are the most durable.

I installed the Bosch +4s in December and I was impressed with the smootheness of the engine at all RPMs. The mileage also got more consistant from tank to tank.

Last weekend I installed a set of Magnecor wires (BIG thanks to Joe at SPMotorsports!) and the engine was smoother running still. The bonus for me was that my install was halfway through a tank of gas and the nest itme I filled up and checked the mileage, it was about 1 mpg better. [I hope it stays that way!]

In summary, the wires and the plugs seem to be an excellent upgrade for the Duratech (I'll be checking how well they work on my wife's Mercury Villager as well; thanks again Joe Scott at SPMotorsports!).

I have Taylors and Bosch +4s. They seem to work very well! No gains that I can tell (maybe a little), but my '95 runs much smoother.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!

I saw a Tour with Ford Motorsport plug wires at SZ. I wonder how much they are? They were even blue.
