OK, here's the deal. I have no honk when I push the steering wheel horn, but when I activate locks with remote, I get the honk. This leads me to believe that there is a bad connection in the steering wheel behind the airbag. I found an old thread noting that a broken clock spring may be the culprit. It's a connector between the steering wheel and the column. Does this sound like it is the problem to anyone, or has anyone had the same issue? My cruise control system is currently removed, so I can't test that way, but I know the fuse is good, as my clock, radio, lighter, eherything else is fine. Nothing worse than trying to honk at some a$$hole who just cut you off and coming up dry! Please help.

A bad clock spring should turn on the air bag light.

I can't help you with your horn but I have an alternative.

Step 1. Wind down your window
Step 2. Use the finger.
Step 3. Reinforce Step 2 by yelling profanities.
Step 4. Repeat Step 2 and 3 if necessary.

I found that it works better than the honk from experience.
