has anyone installed headers themselves on a svt.if so how hard is it.and is it worth it

I did not do it but I was there.

The installer said he will never install headers on a Contour again.

I have SHM Headers and we removed the studs out of the engine because we could not get the headers on with the studs in place.
We got bolts to replace the studs.

My issue now is the oil filter sent is too big. I'm told I need to get Mobile One filter and it will be removeable without removing anything else.

The old manifold will fall right out, no problem.

My set is getting installed on weds, i'll report back.
