For those of you that care (not you phlop):
If "that sensor" is the IAT, then that sensor can't be simply "gotten out of the way" or "bunched up with some vacuum hoses" it needs to be in the direct path of air. The is crucial to engine management, and something that you should not put off..

As originally stated...
1.Get a heatshield...
2. make sure you reset the pcm (you did, didn't you?)
3. enjoy the newfound power and sound.

The sensor is with airflow. It is hookup to a vacume hose that is just off of the MAF. I was able to get a tube slpit off of it. Looks good, works well so far. Anyways, I will post pics soon.

A little and easy question, does K&N make MAF adaptor?

Because I'm going to buy a new k&n filter to a guys who doesn't have KKM and BAT for supplier.

I saw it on ebay : http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7967625096&category=38634&sspagename=WDVW

but I can't find anything about a k&n MAF adaptor.

I just want to buy all from the same guy, to simplify all, and to encourage him!

I'm probably hard to understand, but it's ok, I'm always hard to understand

alright newbies! im not gonna flame on anyone, but yes search is nice. Normally if someone is new, we "kindly" tell them the information they asked for.

if you want anything K&N, go to www.ajusa.com

if you want a MAF, go to www.spmotorsports.com
