Hey guys, just thought I'd let you know another '95 LX V6 in Atlanta is still on the road and has passed 150,000 miles. OK, it is on its 2nd engine (can you say waterpump), 2nd radiator (under warrantee) and I do need new transmission mounts, motor mounts, perhaps transmission rebuild and a refill on A/C fluid before it gets hot outside but so far so good.
Hopefully I can hold out until I can afford to do them and hopefully I can hold out for a new car until Ford makes a decent powered wagon with 2, not 3 rows of seats.
The Ford 500 seems good but not as practical as a wagon. However the Freestyle Wagon has 3 rows of seats. Have you tried to fit a 5'11" person behind the driver? Doesn't work. Maybe they can only have 2 rows in a wagon (car not truck) in the Mercury version when they come out with it. And maybe they can put in a larger engine.
