Anyone have problems with installing the SPEC flywheel onto the SVT crankshaft? The SPEC flywheel is not fitting onto the crankshaft unless it is forced on. My crankshaft OD measured 0.1748, the SVT flywheel ID measured 0.1750, and the SPEC ID measured 0.1744. I called SPEC and they measured several of their in-stock flywheels, and they all measured about 0.1744 to 0.1745. They suggested taking a couple of swipes with 600 grit sandpaper to the shoulder/flange of the crankshaft or to apply a little heat to the flywheel to make it fit. Is this normal to have to do this?

Mine was snug but went on the 3L crank I installed it on without issues.

A couple ten thousandths is not a big issue. Just clean up the crank with 600 grit like they advise.

Thanks. We got it to fit by sanding the ID of the flywheel with a tool typically used to clean/grind a bearing race.
