Why not keep the backseat and buy a recaro babyseat and mount the nitrous bottle in the seat. That way you can play off of the whole family car/grocery getter image that most people see when they look at a contour.

Thats a sweet ass idea!!! ANywyas, Stazi is right. #1... if your system is THAT GINORMOUS, your 50 shot or whatever probably propells you an extra 5 HP at the wheels.  Do you have the spare in the trunk?? IF so, remove the stupid thing. I can't use the spare, car will scrape badly anywhere I go... so it's gone, in the garage. I just make sure to renew my AAA membership.

I dont have a spare tire i took it out because i have rims so it wouldnt matter any way. yea my system does take up my whole trunk if you come to redline tonight youll see, i have my amp, my yellow top and my sub, the sub takes up 90% but its 4000 WATTS .., I think i might just take the time to fiberglass it into the trunk that way i would have room for the tank. I would take out the yellow top but for the time being theres no way my alternator can put out 120watts when the max on the thing is less than that, and thats only the amp drawing 120. i got a HO alternator so ill probally put it in sometime on sunday, since tonight is redline and tomorrow is the CASINO.

The alternator output is in amps, not watts, so you cannot say that the amp will overpower it.

I'm still curious to know why put nitrous on a car to go faster, if the rear is loaded down with a ton of stereo [censored]?

yea my liscense plate does rattle real bad, the 2 bottom bolts rattleed themselves out , so i have to go to SOS to get those plate bolts. and the point of nitrious it to go faster, its not like im going to leave my system in if im going to race im not a frikin idiot, its a matter of 4 screws and its out. take 5 seconds and done
