I don't intend to break the facts, but my CAI hasn't sacrificed any low end for the gains it's given me. That could be because of the SVT TB though (in theory, balancing the loss out?)

use this filter...that should help...btw anyone else ever use the ru 1785 before.. KKM VS K&N RU 1785

The RU-1785 is serious overkill for a NA engine.
You will not use the entire filter area effectively because it's size is so much greater then the engine's natural CFM pull.

RU 3530 seems to be perfect for our cars, but that's merely my opinion. I like the idea about the other suggested filter, too.

I tried to do this last night while using the polished intake tube and the filter wont fit into the lower stock airbox. The intake tube is longer than the accordian tube.
But its a great idea if you are using the standard accordian.
