Pilot bearing would require removal of the transmission.. Either by seperating the tranny and engine and lowering the tranny through the bottom, or by removing the engine and tranny as a whole through the top.

How many miles are on this zetec engine? Is it the stock clutch?

What do you mean by "squeaking"? Metal on metal screeching? fingers on a chalkboard? mouse squeaking? Try to give us a little more detail, such as:

When does it do it? (what conditions? driving? sitting still? every time? odd times? only when the car is warm? etc...)

What do you feel? (pedal softer? harder? chatter? pulsation? anything?)

What makes the situation worse or better? (turning, slowing down, high revs, low revs, etc)

Do you have a check engine light on? (if so, get the codes read (autozone does them for free), though I doubt you would for a clutch related problem...)

The answers to the previous questions will provide us with a more accurate basis of providing the correct answer, instead of a guess.
