someone help quick...
there si some sort of grease, its some black gooey crap on the inside of my rim it gets on the out side also. it is very hard to clean off. a lot of scrubing and simple green brings back to normal. but a a week later it starts to come back.
i recently had my half shaft replaced.
any ideas
brake fluid???
transmission fluid???
grease from half shaft???

has anyone else had this problem?


99 contour sport atx,new pedals,mesh grill,TSW Zenon 17x7, svt front brakes and springs,struts, shoshop y-pipe no cat and adapter for k&n cone air filter, sca 2 1/2 piping into two can styled magnaflows.

Did you take the wheel off the offending side and take a look? Seems like grease from a tear in the boot or if you 're lucky, who ever did the work on the axle, didn't tighten up the clamps on the the outer CV boot enough. The grease is being slung out as you drive. Take it back to the place that did the axle.
