Lately it seems I'm spending about 90% of my time just removing rusted on nuts and bolts and 10% doing the actual work - this with hand tools.
What's the minimum HP & PSI requirements for a DIY guy like me?
Thx

Lou....watcht he Crappy Tire ads. I picked up a 10gal compressor with 125psi max psi with impact wrench, rachet and impact hammer for $260 back in September. It may be a bit on the small side for my needs but it sure beats the hell out of doing it by hand. Another bonus is that it is relaively light since it's not the biggest one out there. If you ave the $$ don't go below 15gal for the tank.

My craftsman Air Compressor and Air tolls was the best gift/tools in my garage - I urge anyone with the room for one to get one. It makes working on the car sooooooo much easier.
The minimum tools you need are: 1/2" Impact Gun 3/8" Air Ratchet Air Hammer and a bunch of extensions and a deep well impact socket set, in Metric.

i have the 60 gallon tank by craftsman : i can't remember the hp but it is everything that i need. the only problem was i had to wire it to 220 but it was well worth it. now if i could just talk the wife into letting me buy one for our second home.
