Next weekend im driving out to Pomona to Work with Injen Technology. There fabricating a new Cold Air Intake for the SVT Contour's.(I have a 1998) Im not sure if any other companies are doing so with out having to remove the battery. They will do some testing on it for a week and hopefully find time to dyno. Ill post a message when the numbers are in, and when they will be selling. For this info I only ask that you mention my name when you order this. (Anthony Mata) Do not be confused with the already air filter replacment. This will be Brand Spanking New! Again, please mention me so they know where you heard about the C.A.I.
Thanks and enjoy!

What would be nice is an intake that offers cool air WITHOUT putting the filter/MAF down by the radiator(ala. SCA CAI). If they could make a custom plastic or fiberglass housing similar to the SVT but larger, with a larger filter element inside, allowing you to hookup to the fenderwell CAI, PLUS, a 2nd CAI duct that runs down to the plastic lip spoiler to get more air in that would be awesome. The problem is the stock fenderwell opening needs to be bigger but nobody wants to cut into it.

This complex custom shaped housing is the only way to get the job done withot heatsoak. They probably wount do it (as the SVT is defunct), but if not they will probably be another me too brand.

I would be interested in a cold air intake that incorporates the stock position, so there isn't a big empty space or stock unused parts connected to the fender like the SCA CAI... Maybe somthing that winds it's way to the front lower grill???? But is safe in the rain.. It is going to be tough to maintain velocity though with all that pipe... Right??
Keep me posted..
Where are you at?? I'm in Los Angeles near Venice Beach.
