Just like regular. The only caution when switching to synthetic is that your engine needs to have been cared for decently throughout the years. I didn't know the history of my engine and switched at ~83k miles with no problems. Use a motorcraft or if you can/want to afford it, a K&N filter.

Mobil 1 filters are very good; I use K&N myself but I certainly wouldn't return the Mobil 1. Believe it or not standard Motorcraft filters are also good.

Mobil 1 filter are pretty good...actually everything they make is pretty good. I switched over to Amsoil at 78,000 with no problems. I later moved my dad's 99 Grand Cherokee V8 to Amsoil at 134,000 miles. Hes at 144,000 right now and has no leaks.

yeah, the best bang for the buck oil change can be had at wal-mart: Motorcraft filter, 5qt and 1qt jug of Mobil 1. $5, $20, $5. $30 is decent for high-quality stuff. I use a K&N filter, and run 6.5qts, so I pay about $45 after tax per change, more if I can't get to a Wal-Mart and have to buy 7qts in the little bottles: $5x7 + $12 + tax = $50! Ouch.
