If you have a bent wheel is there a way to unbend it?

You'd probably have to contact the maker of the wheel and ask if they do this service, because some do. Some shops actually do this kind of service too.

I had a bent rim for my 99 SVT that I had to get replaced. Discount Tire got a refurbished wheel for $175. Later I learned that the TireRack had brand new ones for $140.

yes, a lot of places can do it. At least around here, most wheel/tire shops will give it a shot.

I've taken two sets of wheels to the local fixrim.com dealer and have had pretty good results. Of course, I've since bent a couple again....

I bent mine, had it restretched and refinished for $75.00 from Discount Tire....but it didnt matter because they own all 4 of my SVT rims and I got some nice Enkeis...

They fixed one of mine, of course it rebent a few months later in the same spot on a bad expansion joint. They said their was no way to fix it. I paid $120 at FixRim
Best to buy an extra wheel or two if you plan on bending/curbing one.

Best to buy an extra wheel or two if you plan on bending/curbing one.
I do not know of too many people that plan to curb/bend their rims. But I agree with your statement to a point, thats why I own a set of 5 s7 mods.

steel wheels are easy to rebend. good way to vent frustration with a hammre as well. (yes i know you're probly not asking about steel, but who knows)
