so i am a new owner of a purebread pitbull pup. she's 7 weeks now, choc with a white belly with baby blue eyes, just so dang cute. her name's trouble
she's a lot of work, but i know she'll be worth it! just wanted to share with the ceg community.

I have two pups as well....one is a pitbull-x and the other is a "whoops" between an AKC registered German Shepard and an AKC registered Black Lab. From my understanding , the Lab got loose from his pen, and well....nature took it's course with the neighbors Shepard  Well, the pitbull-x is a year and a half, but is still a puppy according to the vet. Here's some pics:

Nice! I used to own two pits. They're names were Diablo and Fendi (mom named the girl). They were the best dogs I ever had.

Nice! Cute pup! I think it's so sad that aggression has been bred into these dogs, cause they can be so sweet (and they're damn cool looking with all their muscles  ). It sucks when you hear about them attacking people knowing that it's some old gene that some *ssholes bred into them long ago.  Good luck and welcome to the dog world.

I think it has more to do with the personality of the dog & its training from day 1. I own a pit bull mix. She is sweet as can be, loves kids, and absolutely will not bite - unless somebody is physically threatening one of my girls. If I'm being threatened, she'll let me die. B&^%$ !
Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.

And pitbulls do not have an agressive gene. It's all in how they're raised.
