OP 77Transam95GL CEG\'er 7 Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 97 Long Beach City(north side), C...	hi guys, i think its time to move on so I've decided to sell my contour. its a 95 ATX zetec, and i was just wondering what you guys think is a fair price for it. If anything i will give the buyer to choices: 1 take the car as it is(as well as every stock piece for it), or 2 remove all performance things and buy the car stock, and ill sell the indivudal things at my discretion. Mods: CTA intake K&N Filter UMI TB Spacer Ford Racing Wires Accel Coil Autolite plugs Zxtuner Underdrive Pulley Zxtuner Alternator Overdrive pulley Custom Header (Cholo Header) 2.5 flexpipe to 2.25 system Custom Magnaflow exhuast - resonator and muffler Cross drilled and slotted front rotors B&M Trans Cooler These are the things taken in option 1. I think asking for 2000 ( option 1 ), and 1500 ( option 2 ) is fair. AS stated before its a 95 ford contour zetec ATX with 130,000 miles, still runs very strong( for a zetec). Just asking for your opinion on what sounds as a fair price. He also forgot that it was a 98, he was remembering that he bought it new 97, and forgetting that it was actually a 98. He wasn't really into cars. I'd ask $2000 for it if I were you. If you get around that you'll be doing alright. -Peter

Or use them to 'sweeten the deal'.....you know,"if ya buy the car at my price I'll give you the intake". A car without 'HOT' parts is a car that has been taken care of and NOT abused. The value of the parts as a whole is less than the parts by themselves. Add up the total $$$ you paid for the stuff. All they are worth, on the car, is 10% of the total cost.....ouch! Even IF I saw a car with low Kms, low $$$, "maintained" and newer, I'd prefer one that has been driven by joe blow who has done maintenance and that's it. Bodykits, performance enhancers (not the kind McGuire takes ) and personalization of a car reduce it's wanted-ness and limit the population that would consider it, for reasons ajax said.
