The order was placed yesterday: Pistons Rings Head gasket Head bolt set Oil pan gasket set Some if it's already shipped (the gasket sets, I think). Goal is April 9th to have it together and ready to run.

When you get the head gasket...make sure it is the German made one. The other one tends to be less reliable. m

I went ahead and honed out the cylinders today. Found a shop to ring my pistons and toss them on the rods. Cleaned up some of the mating surfaces, etc. etc.
I sure hope the parts all get here tomorrow as scheduled.

Okay, the cylinder head repair is complete. That's a long story, btw. It was a benign problem, but something I had to patch, nonetheless.
