How much timing are you seeing?

Who did your tune?

Have you raced your Lightning yet?

I'm really in the dark about the actual tune on the truck. The previous owner said it was a JLP Flip Chip. However, the place I dynoed it (a place pretty familiar with the Lightnings) they said JLP didn't ever burn SuperChips. I'm I'm not really sure on the timing it actually has.

I've taken it to the track twice so far. My personal best so far is 13.19 @ 103. That was on bald F1s. The previous owner reportedly ran consistent 12.9Xs...and on slicks it went 12.68 @ 107 (its document on NLOC as that as well...)

The reason I ask is I do part-time work at my local dyno shop tuning Fords and I have seen many Lightnings in the shop to make dyno runs.

The biggest killer in power and performance is a poor tune.

Take my Lightning...4 lb lower, MAC CAI, SCT custom tune @ 19 deg with afr of 12.1:1 flat, syn oil, ftvb and it put down 413.9/506.9 STD...runs Mid 12's@111 .

That is why I was curious...

I know the tune is way rich on both sides. With a retune I could imagine mid 390ish. Considering though what mods are done to the truck, and it being a 00, I was not disappointed with the numbers...
