I dont know much about car audio; i just know names so i need some help. I placed a bid for 2 of these with the carpeted box. I was wondering if this is a good deal & and a good set of RF's that set some hi tone bass for a car ?

There are many other subs in this price range that will easliy outperform this model of RF's. If it is ebay you placed a bid on, I would hope to get outbid, and buy something else. I'm off to work and don't have time right now to look for other suggested subs, but I'm sure everyone else hear will chime in shortly.

if the rest of your system is alpine and eclipse, id think youll want better subs than those. thyre OKAY as ENTRY level subs.

do you want more sound quality, or loudness?

im pretty happy with my infinity reference 12s, and i got them for 60$ each, for the price, i like them. however i realize there are plenty of better subs out there, probably some even cheaper as well. just take your time and look around before you purchase

The Z model is horrible! Rockford is good except for that model is horrible. For the money you could get a sub 2-3x better.

I just came across this deal on ebay. I just bought the same sub and it's in the same brand enclosure. It sounds pretty good, and they are definately better than that RF. I only have one, so I'm sure the 2 of them would sound pretty good plus that's a good price.
