I cleaned the sock filter on the fuel pump of my SVT,and wow! I had the problem that plagues many of us with the newer fuel system. I took out the round disk filter(it wasn't very dirty). The sock filter had quite a bit of crud on it. I scrubbed it up with an old toothbrush. I ran a full tank through it,and then the moment of thruth...1/4 tank.It did not bog under acceleration at all. I ran it until the low fuel light came on and it works great. If anyone is tired of your car falling on it's face with low fuel in the tank, then do this. I also installed new Autolite double platinum plugs, runs great.
