Has anyone else felt like their car has more power when th a/c or defog is on? Why is this?

There's no power in Zetecs period with or w/o a/c.

Your idle speed is probably higher with the ac on, so you may have the impression of more power.
Power is actually reduced due to loading of the engine by the compressor.

really..each time my ac is on my idle speed goes down.... anyone else have this problem?

yeah i notice less power with the a/c on
its like this
normal zetec no mods with out a/c
90hp at the wheels
with a/c on it drops down to 50hp
correct me if im wrong
just an educated guess
oh if you have a type r sticker
it goes up to 700hp
