I was wanting to know which amp and which sub to get to make my system really BOOM!!! The choice of amps are the Clarion DPX1000.2 250Wx2 / 1,000x1?? or the JBL BP1200.1. Also, which sub should I get to make it extremely loud. Should I just use one sub or more. I was thinking about the L7 Solo Baric, because I hear square pushes more air. But I've also heard no on the solo baric. So what do you guys recommend? I want it to be extremely loud. I am looking to spend about $350 on a sub/subs.. Thanks.

hey man for the amp you deffinately want to buy the subs first so you can see what you need to run them instead of what can you run ya know what i mean try out the polk momo's the friggin hit hard and get two 12's you said you want some boom go with that man deffinately

if you want a nice sub amp go with the jbl, i really like that one for the price. and as for loud subs, i dont know much for spl but my friend has a setup using audiobahn 15s which is painful to the ears. another friend blasts some alpine r type 15s, but i think thats more based on power and setup than the subs specifically. oh, and just so im the first to say anything on this board, check out the lambda. other recommendations from friends that i cant say i own personally are memphis, and the adire shiva (or its larger brother which i believe is the adire avatar)

My friend has a pair of the 15" L7s and he loves them. I think he runs 1000W to each. He scored a 155 last year at the db drag. If I had to choose between the amps, I would pick the JBL.

i have a Hifonics Gen. X Zues 500x2,1000x1 rms, not peak, for sale. and 2 brand new JLW3(still in box)also for sale, make me an offer.

Is that a pretty reliable amp? I'm not interested in the subs really.

it's a power house, it really puts out what it claims to. never once gave me a problem. also sent it out to hifonics to put in internal mod kit, so it puts out more than the rms rating.

imprt killer, your uh... pm thing is full. But yeah I'm interested. But which is the better amp? I am currently looking at the JBL BP1200.1, the Clarion DPX1000.2, and yours.. Those are my 3 choices.. I am looking to spend around the $250-$280 Price range.

I would probably get two Tempests from Adire Audio and a JBL BP1200.1.
