So your going to use one of the best subs money can buy and hook an Audiobahn amp to it?? Thats like powering a Hummer with a V-tec.
L7 one of the best subs money can buy?
In some ways, i put them in the same boat as audiobahn.

More like powering an H2, it looks cool, but not like the original......

I tired to chrome plate a turd once. Let me tell you it's tough. I found that eating high concentrations of iron before making a brick would cause the plating process to stick better, but then when you try to pick it up it just goes all mushy, assuming it survived the acid vat. I guess I could try eating a piece or rebar and hope it doesn't kill me on the way back out (I'll sand down any burrs) and then plate that.
Seriously though, when dealing with subwoofers the big names are by no means the best option. JL makes great equipment but you can find similarly performing stuff at half the price. Audiobahn can be matched for even less. Just let your ears do the buying and tell your eyes that the pretty stuff is just that.

If thats the case what do you have I'm an installer and audiobahn subs are good quality subs My friends nor I have EVER had a problem with them you just don't know how to install it is your problem and as for overpriced 350$ for a 15' Immortal series sub is Extremely inexpensive considering the fosgate are 600$ for the same wattage the ommortal series runs 2250 watts RMS.

i'll take the ability to form coherent sentences over the ability to install audiobahn anyday.

Wow, you chose the wrong place to pick that fight.
So where do you install? It's been a long time since Ive seen a reputable shop that is also an Audiobahn dealer.

I would buy from Adire, ED, AE, or a huge number of places before buying Audiobahn.
First off, thier main sell, the chrome flames, look like crap to me. I'm payig extra for flames... yippee!
BTW, if you are goig to defend them being overpriced, don't compare it with other overpriced stuff. Fosgate has a HUGE base just from word of mouth and advertising.
Now about not knowing how to install... well that's just a lame shot. Alot of members here do excellent work. That coupled with our ability to detect new high performance bargains in the midsts of commercial garbage makes us gods.

Ok look, I know I am not some audio pro here but I just installed two audiogahn AW125IT 12 inch subs w/ a Bandpass Sub box in my car yesterday and it sounds awesome. Right now I only have a rockford fosgate 600 watt amp bridging the two subs so they are underpowered and still pound. My two buddies were even impressed and they have JL7-s and the other one has Alpine Type R's. Obvoiusly they have theirs peaked with great amps so theirs sounds amazing but for mine w/ a smaller amp for right now they were surprised. They said once I get the $$ for a better amp those subs will pound. For the $$ you honestly cant beat it.
