ok, last night I finished installing my sealed box underneith the rear deck with the stock hole enlarged for the 8" sub.. Im looking for suggestions on what to do to the rear deck cover.. some kind of speaker grill or covering that will blend in... any ideas? or PICTURES?

How did you enlarge the hole? I'm looking to do the same and want to make it easy on myself.

Regarding the grill, I plan to use the deck cover as is. I don't want to draw the attention to it in my neighborhood.

a lot of people (including myself), just removed the carboard backing of the shelf carpet. It looks stock, and plenty of sound gets through.

Got any pictures of your box (installed or not)? I am interested to see how it compares to mine.

I did the same as cpurser, and it works fine. Just be VERY careful cutting the backing--it's easy to slice the carpet.

RLR--Enlarging the hole should be pretty easy with a jigsaw or Dremel, didn't bother on my sub install but it wouldn't have been a problem.

I just used tin-snips to cut it, then filed it down with a dremel. and yes, I'll work on getting some pics
