I thought I'd throw a few pics of my mystique up here. I just got her washed and waxed and took some nice pics. Right now it's stock except for the painted calipers and underdash neons. I'm probably not going to do anything to it seeing as it's an ATX, but I might look at some SVT Focus rims and some droppage.

This is my favorite:

And here's my car with my sister's Zetec. Our family has owned three contours so far....not bad.

Good call on the bumper, car looks nice other than that though!

Just paint that and that chrome strip (IMO it lookes better painted).

Yeah, i guess the first owner worked for Ford and got in an accident. Whoever repainted it did it bad and the paint flaked off. So anybody know what this color is called?

Looks like the colour my 96 Contour was. It was called "Desert Violet". I loved that colour.

nice 'stique! great color.

at the top of your mod list you might want to put the b pillar (black out) mod. your car is screaming out to have it done. would make a big difference visually.

i might also suggest painting out the trunk reflector. on some cars/some colors the large center trunk reflector looks ok. with your purple i believe i would body paint it out in a minute!

good to see mystiques on here.....

Looks like Calendar quality to me.

Yeah. Before I do anything else I'm getting paint work done first so wheels and a drop dont look foolish with dents and dings all over the place. Say, if I took a pic of my car in that stance, there'd be a small dent right above the wheel well "lip"

Actually I have been looking at this with some interest, I think it would look great with the tinted windows. This summer I'll be looking into a few of these little things.

Oh, and here's that "calendar" pic full size, it's definitely my new desktop pic.

Shiny!
