I am going to start building a house for my new Brahma, and I was wondering: what is the best/strongest way to put the box together? Joints, screws, glue, combinations? I'll be running a buttload of power and it'll be a small, sealed box, so it has to be tight.(I don't mean tight as in "Wow, that speaker is tight!", but tight as in "These pants are a little too tight in the front") Any help is appreciated.

I usually go with 3/4" MDF, some 1.5" wood screws, and pleanty of liquid nails. Assuming you're using butt joints, you'll want to pre-drill and countersink all of the screwholes while using liquid nails for all of the joints.

You might also consider sealing the inside of the box with a resin. At the very least, you'll want to goop all of the inside corners. You might need some internal bracing for your brahma and buttloads of power too.

I was going to recommend getting a locking miter bit, but it requires a heavy duty router. A dremel wouldn't work.

Use Colin's recommendation, but replace liquid nails with some Titebond II wood glue. smile
