Man, what a bummer,,,the Lambda barely fits into the Elements enclosure,,,they have to file down the opening because the basket is soooo large,,,Do you think it would be a problem just glueing the sub? It will be inclined at an upward angle, so that combined with the glue and sealant may hold it? I held a JLAudio next to the Lambda,,,The JLAudio looks like MiniMe... Also..Hows the ALPINE V12 MRV-T 757 AMP bridged to 1 ch for the sub? I get it for practically nothing,,,I trade tennis lessons for it,,

Definately a good choice for the amp. Gluing the sub, tho? Sealed enclosure, right? I think you'll eventually pop that Lambda right out of the enclosure. Also, what if you ever want to take the sub out of the enclosure (provided you get a strong enough adhesive)?

I definitely would NOT glue the sub into the enclosure. Like SVT Colin said, if you do get a strong adhesive, you'd probably have to destroy the box to get the sub out. You don't usually plan to take the sub back out, but you almost always have to do it at some point for some reason. Why can't you screw the sub in? (aren't you glad I said in )

When file down the overhang, where the screws will be,,,the installer didnt think that there is a lot of material left between the screw and the inner edge, and he was afraid of cracking or the material just breaking,,,,It seems to be very hard, so maybe brittle as well? Maybe I should take a chance with the screws, and then if not,,maybe glue...If the sub works well with the enclosure, i dont see why I would remove the sub unless something goes wrong.
There is a no return policy for these enclosures, and they already drilled and placed the connectors in the back...maybe i will have them chance it with the screws..!

Screw it!
Just make sure to drill pilot holes that are only slightly smaller than the screws. It should help the material from cracking/splitting.

I don't know... Powering a Lambda with an MRV-T757 would make you a stinking copycat, just like with the sub... copycat :p
