On tune-town.com you can buy a harness bypass kit(16$) that simply plugs in and out bypassing factory amp. Anybody got this setup yet?
If I install this amp bypass harness will I lose any controls (balance, fade, etc.)?
I have a JVC CD (I think it's s550 or similar model) with 4x40W (so it says on it?!) hooked to factory "premium sound" amp in behind glovebox.
Are there any benefits/drawback running 4 speakers (JBL GTO series) directly from HU? Will this set-up sound better?
Thank you.

If you haven't already bought the harness I can save you a few $. I can sell it to you out of my stereo shop for $10 and that would include shipping. Let me know if you want it. My email address is jason@asg-co.com, or call me at the shop (877)525-2764 and ask for Jay
