...is complete. Klean Strip makes a fiberglass paint stripper and my order finally came in today. It is a thick jelly like stripper that you spread with a paint brush. It was a definite success. Followed by a quick 220 grit go over and my splitter is as white as new, ready to be shot again. Just need to run a 1000 grit over it before painting and I'm good to go. DEFINTELY easier and faster than just sanding it all down! It was worth the $13 and I have plenty more to do a few more times if necessary. Just thought I'd let you all know so you have a heads up, especially Kingpin as you had inquired.

my mirko project has come to a stop for the time being. i got all of the black/silver spray paint off, only to discover there is a few coats of t-red underneath!!!! its real car paint, so its a slow process sanding it off (understatement of the year!). ive given up on sanding (the t-red is pretty anyway), so this is the best news ever.

.........still working on that thing??? i thought i saw a nice coat of white paint under the black/silver...had no idea there was t red??
