he hit the brakes after loosing control.
reviewing in slow-motion it looks like the front-end dives just before he looses control. I'm thinking he hit the wrong gear, realized it, let off the throttle (instead of pushing in clutch), front-end dropped, got startled, locked up the brakes and lost it into the wall.

it looked like he was spinning faster than he was going down the track.

I don't agree. He let up on the throttle after realizing the other car was walkin' away from him, tweaked the steering wheel right, then hard left with brakes to slide the car around. Don't know if he wanted to finish the race going backwards or what. He got punished for having no sportsmanship or driving skill.
I wonder if Dad will ever see this video...?
Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.

It does look like he might have tried to pull an intentional spin... how fast was he going?

Is it me or did it look like he was doing about 50mph? I thought GT's had 300 hp?
Whatever it was - it doesnt look THAT bad - now that yellow cobra that just blew to pieces in one vid....man that was bad.

I can't tell if he tried to turn the car around on purpose or if he lost control. Either way he cant drive. I dont know about you but I wouldn't drag my new car on a wet track and try to flip the car around. He must of just lost it some how
