Where might I be able to find some red jacking point covers in good condition? I checked through your classifieds, and found nothing. So, I was wondering if you guys might have any ideas.

Ford dealer has them, as would Bill. You will likely have to paint them though.

i've bought some through a dealer before painted t red they ran about 25.00 a piece...about a year and a half ago, so they might be more now...throuh bill you could prob get them for around 20 or so

I cracked one of mine, epoxied it back together, then put touch-up paint along the crack. It looks ok, but i was looking for one that was red already, and did not need painting (I dont think my paint job would look very good, and i believe that there is lots of sanding and repainting necessary to make it look decent.)If you can buy them pre-painted from Ford, that would be great, but most of the parts in the parts department come in black plastic only. If you could give me more information about bill, it would be very much appreciated.

yup they come pre painted, if you look two post up, i've bought them before, they ask for your paint code,or color as well....

Yeah, I saw it, but I was surprised that the parts department offered painted parts. I'll call up the place tomorrow. How do you take the teather off the old one, and fit it onto the new one? Or does it come with a whole knew teather?

Mine didn't come pre-painted...I actually painted them myself, because when I got them, they came with a primer already on them. So I just got Duplicolor black, and Duplicolor clear coat and went to town! It looks stock its so good.
