that would be correct...gsx=awd turbo...gs-t=fwd turbo

That's what I though- they are soooo much better than the 2000+ Eclipses! As fast as an SVT off the line, IIRC. Why would you go from AWD to FWD?

The CSVT is a slightly quicker and much better looking IMO. The FSVT however is handles better and has an a sh!t-ton of aftermarket parts. I think you'd be happy with either car.

Sell both cars, and get both SVT's. Wouldn't that be a treat to yourself!
Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently.

Because he can probably get $5-8k for his Eclipse depending on the shape it's in, and $2-4k for his Contour, so best case scenerio he has $12k to play with.. $6-8k for a nice CSVT and $4k doesn't go far when the price of a used FSVT with lower miles is around $12-16k.. Im willing to bet he wants vehicles that are paid off..

Well first off, a stock GSX would be WAY faster than an csvt or fsvt. It wouldnt even be a contest. That said, I like the Gsx, but it only goes in a straight line. I actually like the handling of my SE better. It may be because I'm used to it though. I do a TON of highway driveing, so I need something that gets better gas milage. I also want something a bit more practical that the eclispe. I carry stuff around alot. I also prefer to autocross rather that drag race as well. And DSM's really are not known for their reliability...
Again, thanks guys!

I think if he wanted the speed he would be keeping the eclipse....it is already turboed and for around $1500 or so he could be in the 12's easy. How much you selling the eclipse for and were are you?

$5-8 for a 93? What crack are you smoking? LOL! J.K. He would be able to get $3500 max for the car. The price of these cars are fairly cheap now, especially for the older 1g models.
