I used to think that the problem with my speakers sound quality was in the speaker itself, but now that i have replaced all 4 door speakers with alpines...I still have the same problem, and it's with my back left door speaker, it has continued to "cut out" and "cut in". Plus, i had 'Professionals' install these speakers, those at Circuit City. No matter the volume, this speaker, continues to just cut out constantly. Could i have a loose connection or what?

start simple....replace all the wiring and see if that fixes it. Then go onto the headunit. after that throw it off a cliff.

but try fixing like an american first, use the following checklist for reference:

1. curse repeatedly
2. yell and/or scream
3. shake violently
4. punch
5. kick
6. get bat or hammer and use
7. throw it out and get a new one

The previous guidlines can also be used with small children

Seems like the wrong order. Replacing wiring is not a fun job. I would pull the HU and test the continuity between the wires in the dash to the speakers. If all checks well, throw the HU off of a cliff and get a new one.
